Hello to you all..
I'm... GOING TO THE AMAZONS TOMORROW!!!
haha; I'm going to have monkeys on my shoulders, touch some Boa snakes!! and...
hike some place for 5 hours, get bitten by bugs, don't get a proper shower for five days, be in some muddy place, sleep in a hammock....... and etc...
Do I really want to go...? now that I think about it..?
YEAH!! lol
It's ALL~~ part of the experience ^^
My only concern is;; would I get enough chance to charge my batteries for the camera? My batteries for the camera doesn't last long -_-;;
How annoying;;
Maybe I should've packed the crappy disposable camera this time; I may be just too much of technology;; lol
Well..
I'll post some pictures up when I'm back!! ^^

It is important that students plan ahead and bring the appropriate equipment for the trip. Each student should pack all the below items, unless listed as optional. In the luggage specified. You will not have access to your duffel during the trip from Bogota to your first night's accommodation in the Amazon. The (daypack you will keep with you on the plane and boat). You will have to carry both the duffle and daypack at times and boat space is limited, so don't bring any extras not listed below. Teachers will perform the usual "custom check" before we leave CNG. Park service personnel may also check our luggage upon arrival.
Bring this list with you and don't forget to bring the most important item
POSITIVE ATTITUDE, YOUR I.D. CARD (original) and MEDICAL INSSURANCE
DUFFLE STUFF
___ rugged duffle bag for the itmes below. Everything inside the duffle should be inside a plastic trash bag, in case of rain
___ 6 t-shirts
___ 2 lightweight long-sleeve shirt
___ 2-3 paris lightweight cotton pants suitable for hiking in hot weather (jeans are too hot and heavy)
___ underwear and socks
___ personal medication and hygiene items. (incl. tiamina)
___ knee-high rubber hiking boots (pantaneros) with tread on sole
___ 5 paris knee-high socks that come above level of boots
___ outdoor sandals or shoes to get wet, for showering and canoeing
___ lightweight pajamas, or shorts and t-shirt to sleep in
___ reliable flashlight and spare batteries
___ one bed sheet
___ bath towel
___ bathing suit
___ 5 extra plastic garbage bags
___ 2 liters of extra bottled drinking water
___ this list and all other information handouts
DAYPACK STUFF
___ medium-sized, rugged daypack to wear when hiking, for carrying the following items, which you will want to keep handy. It should be lined with a plastic bag. Starred (*) items are necessary for all labs.
___ * full plastic water bottle(s) that does not leak; one liter.
___ * sunglasses
___ * sunscreen
___ * sun hat with brim; baseball cap will do
___ * roll-on insect repellent (no aerosol sprays)
___ * rain poncho (rain jackets are too hot in the tropics)
___ * bandanna
___ * half roll of toilet paper
___ * small notebook (TUFFY), pencil, pen and set of colored pencils, camera (optional) and binoculars (highly recommended)
___ book to read or playing cards for the first day (optional)
WEAR ON FRIDAY
___ comfortable, outdoor clothing suitable for traveling & hiking
___ light jacket or windbreaker
___ tennis shoes
___ bring money for snack stops. Money should be in small denomination (2000 and 5000), so that if buying souvenirs, exact amount can be given. Normally people don't have change. More than 50000 pesos are not advised.
DO NOT BRING
Pocket knives, tobacco or music players. The National Park strictly prohibits aerosols, weapons, pets, alcohol or drugs

Apple has disclosed many stuff today... It's amazing actually.
1.The one that I want badly is the new iMac G5 [u know... the "only monitor" one?? but the macintosh version..? haha.. I want it for web design purposes and "scuriry" reasons. lol]
new iMac G5... with integrated webcam, and 17 or 20 inch monitors... Just want one real bad.... I actually wanted the iMac series from looooong time ago...
Another big step was taken around a month ago when Apple announced the iPod nano.. it had a lot of trouble and some of them were recalled.
2. Today, October 12th, 2005, journalists were called by apple for "exciting news" many thought it was the iPod video, but some said it was not... well it turns out that... it IS...
The "NEW IPOD" as it is called... It got thinner, bigger screen, and a lot of things that are waaaaaaaaay much better...
but this is the funny thing... iPod nano had a lot of troubles lately.. some of them were recalled. It hasn't even been a month since the iPod nano has come out... but... why is Apple making this new step to make things rush out? are they just trying to raise their company even higher?
In my opinion, Apple without the making of iPod would've been a company that failed long time ago. No one used macintosh computer except in the united states before the iPod. iPods won them fame and there company's name value went soaring up.
3. The new iTunes 6. Apple has made some contract with ABC to bring in video/tv programs to be part of the iTunes store(TV shows would be posted the day after beeing screened on TV). Now, you could pay $1.99 for an episode of LOST that you couldn't watch due to planning for your homework, while your on your bus to school, on your new iPod video... interesting, eh?
--Well... it has been very interesting.. all this movement.. It's going to bring a lot of comments from everyone now... Let's see how things go...

SARS and the feared Avian [bird] flu
Some people nowadays argue that all these above stated diseases that are "deadly" harmful could be invented my associations, in which they sell medicines.
Some people also argue that if you go to the doctor because u have a sickness and the doctor prescribes a drug for you, then you die, it's the doctor's prescription's fault; not the disease.
Many think that these deadly diseases were created by medicine-investigating associations in order to spread a deadly disease, then sell they're products by tons. Basically, the mission impossible 2 scenery; the virus chimera is planned to be spread, then the cure to be sold in large quantities.
Now, the question remains.... is this really true?

AMAZON TRIPS!!!
I heard that I have to get this tetanus shot; I didn't get it yet; most likely i have to get it 2 weeks before hand... I should've gotten it today.. hopefully tomorrow. OH well... don't know where to get it, but have to get it soon! But.... This thing bothers me:

Shots have needles, which are actually tubes... correct? *uh huh*
Well.. the tubess are also cut into an angle, in a slant, so that it would enter the skin smoothly, right? *duh!!*
Well in advanced countries, the tube is cut with a laser in a very steep angle so that the entry to the skin would be smoother. But in Colombia, they do not import the smoothly cut tubes, as they are more expensive. And therefore, when you get a shot in Colombia, normally, u feel a bruised up feeling afterwards, for a loooooooooooooong period of time...

Getting back to the point, that's why I don't want to get the shot!!! OMG!!!
Anywho... I'm going to upload a little part of my web design class portfolio later on; the layout is very simplistic, and yet B-E-A-UTIFUL.
